Her buyers enjoy her friendly, patient, low-pressure assistance as they find the perfect property that suits their needs. She serves as an elected official on the Marco Island City Council for a 4-year term (2020-2024). Her extensive local knowledge, and expertise in handling diverse and complex transactions ensures that first-time, as well as seasoned buyers receive the service they need to realize their goals.
Since South Florida is also her home, she volunteers with numerous community organizations to enhance the quality of life for all. Organizations she supports include For the Love of Cats (Marco Island), Leadership Collier (Naples), Marco Island Woman's Club, Island Theater Company (Marco Island), Marco Island Center for the Arts, The League Club (Naples) Leadership Broward (Fort Lauderdale) Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward Women's Alliance (Fort Lauderdale) Designations: Florida Broker Associate License, RSPS (Resort and Second Property Specialist), Marco Island Specialist, Florida Master Naturalist.
Maris is a licensed Real Estate Agent and true 3rd generation Florida native, born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Maris is driven by her love for the Sunshine State, her passion is in helping her clients find their slice of paradise.
Maris graduated from Florida State University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Marketing. After graduating she returned to Fort Lauderdale where she worked in the yachting industry and as the director of a coworking space.
Drawn by the beautiful, peaceful, and family-friendly atmosphere of Southwest Florida, Maris decided to relocate to Marco Island to join her mom, Becky's, real estate team and help others realize their dreams of owning a piece of paradise!
In her free time, Maris can be found on the water. Whether cruising on a boat or lounging at the beach, she cherishes every moment spent enjoying the natural beauty of her surroundings. Maris lives on the island, with her husband, Josh, mini Dachshund, Hoss, and cat, Kitty.
